After a career as an engineer in the motor and aerospace industries, Brian trained at the College of Traditional Clinical Acupuncture under Prof J R Worsley, and has subsequently been in practice in Coventry for 20 years.

Brian set up the Suffolk Clinic in 1982, one of the first multi-disciplined clinics in the area, and managed it until 1998 when he joined the Park Practice as a Partner.
